To introduce myself, I am rooted in Dietetics, refined by Psychology.
My Undergraduate was in Nutrition & Dietetics followed by Post graduate & Ph.D in Psychology. However I couldn’t get out of Nutrition and the stronger bond led to explore Nutritional Psychology and completed my second masters in DFSM from IGNOU. Presently a passionate Independent researcher in Nutritional psychology and neuroscience.
After 16 yrs of experience in multi-speciality hospitals in Chennai and Kozhikode, settled in my own venture, Srisha Counselling – A Centre for Nutritional and Psychological well-being, Kozhikode which is affiliated to World Federation of Mental Health.
I have authored 20 scientific research publications and presented my works in almost 23 conference presentations and contributed to quite a good number of book chapters.
My core area of work revolves around Eating disorders, ADHD, Autism, AlS, Neuro degenerative disorders, Maternal health and Geriatrics.
1. I am 2nd Nutritionist and only psychologist to get SCOPE certification for obesity management.
