Since 2010, Providence Endocrine and Diabetes Specialty Centre has been organising osteoporosis awareness camp for people at risk for osteoporosis. It included BMD measurements, general check up for elders and education sessions by experts in endocrinology, diet, dental and physiotherapy.
This year the program is virtual.
The virtual program will run on Facebook live on 24 th Saturday from 5 PM to 6:30 PM. The live program will feature talks and interactive sessions on the following topics
- Fall prevention
- Diagnosis of osteoporosis
- Treatment of osteoporosis
- Diets in osteoporosis
